Harrison Hall, MS, NREMT, serves as a Principal Consultant with Threat Suppression, Incorporated, where he leads the design and delivery of advanced training solutions for public safety professionals. He integrates frontline fire service experience, applied research, and instructional design to produce training that performs under operational stress. His work focuses on translating complex, high-risk concepts into scenario-driven learning environments that improve decision-making across diverse responder populations.
Harrison joined Threat Suppression in 2026. He currently serves as Superintendent of the Threat Suppression Schoolhouse, overseeing the development and implementation of the company’s learning management system. In this role, he directs curriculum strategy, instructional architecture, and platform execution to support scalable, research-informed training for clients throughout the world.
Harrison is a career firefighter with the Greensboro Fire Department in North Carolina, where he serves as a Senior Firefighter, EMT instructor, recruit trainer, and member of the department’s active assailant planning committee. He is an active member of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 947, the largest IAFF local in North Carolina, and contributes to multiple advisory boards supporting fire and emergency services across Guilford County and the state. Prior to Greensboro, he served with several fire departments and EMS agencies across North Carolina, building a broad operational foundation.
He has deployed twice overseas as a civilian firefighter in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving at Tactical Base Dwyer in Afghanistan and Camp Taji in Iraq. These assignments required sustained operations in austere and hostile environments, coordination with U.S. and coalition forces, and risk management under resource-constrained conditions.
Harrison has trained thousands of responders throughout the southeastern United States. His instructional focus includes crisis intervention, risk assessment and management, community risk reduction, crisis communications, and responder mental health. He has delivered training at regional and national venues, including the Center for Public Safety Excellence Conference and the North Carolina EMS Expo, as well as numerous agency and academic programs.
He is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) and applies his EMS background extensively in both training and consulting engagements. His work has been published in Fire Engineering Magazine and emphasizes the integration of data-informed analysis, grant-supported program development, and technology-enabled delivery. His approach is centered on maintaining operational credibility while advancing modern training methodologies.
Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration from Columbia Southern University, graduating summa cum laude, and a Master of Science in Public Safety Fire Administration from Liberty University, also summa cum laude. He is currently completing his PhD in Public Administration at Liberty University, with research focused on fire service leadership and the application of Path–Goal Theory to operational leadership outcomes.
